Laughter In the Darkと言う映画は宇多田ひかるのコンサとです。とても面白くてよかったです。宇多田は、すごく上手に歌えるんです。たくさん歌を歌いました。ちょっと長かったけど、面白かったです。もっと聞きたいです。日本に行って宇多田のコンサとがあったら、とても楽しいと思います。コンサとがあったら、行こうと思います。 As I continue to listen to more Japanese, whether it be through speech of music, I can discern more and more. I notice that I can increasingly pick out more words that I actually know. In some rare occasions, I can even pick out a word that I do not know and ascertain its meaning based on repeated usage and context.

真っ赤なlipはとても面白い歌です。WANDSと言うバンドが歌う歌です。The song features a fusion of a lot of different kinds of music, including pop, rock, and jazz. There are a lot of movements in the song and you can tell that the performers are extremely talented. 初めての聞いたWANDSの歌から、もっとWANDSの歌が聞きたいです。 Listening to music is helpful in training my ear a little bit more to the different types of inflection that occur in Japanese speech. One of the most difficult things in comprehension can be hearing clearly what is spoken, Also, trying to focus on the words I know rather than getting stuck on words that I am unsure of helps in overall comprehension. Songs sometimes help me practice that skill.
